Malpractice is a Vienna-based artist duo composed of Chiara Kristler (b. 1998, IT/AT) and Marcin Ratajczyk (b. 2002, PL). Their practice constructs functional systems to examine how human communication and societal structures adapt to algorithmic logic. Much of their work runs on a method they call prompted perspectives: a language model is given a worldview and made to run it continuously against live material, so that a way of seeing becomes something an audience can enter, test and leave.
Their works include Flynn (2025–ongoing), an AI agent admitted as a student to the University of Applied Arts Vienna; the interactive performance All Inclusive AI Hell Cruise (2026); the film Fatigue Archive (2025); and the AI opera Don't Be Such An Image (2025). Malpractice held a solo exhibition at Francisco Carolinum, Linz (2025–26), were nominated for the S+T+ARTS Prize 2026 and are Rauschenberg Residents at ZKM Karlsruhe (2026–27).

1998, IT/AT) und Marcin Ratajczyk (geb. 2002, PL).
